IF you are paying for your air ticket through your credit card find out if they offer travel insurance. If not, then it is best to get something even small.

There are many budget airlines in Asia. Air Asia (based in Malaysia) has been awarded as the Best Low-Cost Airline Award in 3 consecutive years. The other airlines that come as runner ups are Jet Star Airways (based in Melbourne, Australia) and Virgin America (of course a US based airline).
